The Last Ent

This hauntingly beautiful tree, reminiscent of an ancient Ent, stood alone against the elements—its twisted branches reaching skyward like a guardian of the landscape. Photographed through changing seasons and shifting light, it became a symbol of endurance and solitude. In March 2023, the tree finally collapsed, marking the end of its long vigil. These images are the last record of its presence, a tribute to its quiet strength and timeless character.
