My Photo Series “Silhouettes of Elizabeth” Exhibited at Trieste Photo Fringe 2024
I’m thrilled to share that my photo series Silhouettes of Elizabeth was exhibited during the 2024 Trieste Photo Fringe festival at the charming Cadenaro café.
This series is deeply personal and reflective, capturing fleeting yet powerful moments of people walking, cycling, and pausing on the Elizabeth Bridge—all against the backdrop of glowing skies. Each silhouette tells a quiet story, suspended between the cables of the bridge and the fading light of day. The interplay of structure and spontaneity, stillness and motion, was what I aimed to freeze in each frame.
Having my work displayed on the golden-hued walls of Cadenaro was surreal. The warm ambiance of the café complemented the sunset tones in the photographs, creating an inviting and contemplative space for viewers. Seeing people stop to look, reflect, and even point out their favorite images was incredibly rewarding.
The Trieste Photo Fringe is known for supporting emerging and independent voices in photography, and it was an honor to be part of that creative conversation. I'm grateful to the organizers for making space for projects like mine that explore beauty in everyday scenes.
Thank you to everyone who visited, shared kind words, and supported my journey. If you couldn’t make it in person, I’ll be sharing more from Silhouettes of Elizabeth online soon.
Until then—keep watching the light.
