Válogatásban a Street Photography France „Cycling Through the Streets” pályázatán

Selected by Street Photography France for Cycling Through the Streets

I am delighted to share that one of my photographs was selected by the jury of Street Photography France for Les rues à bicyclette / Cycling Through the Streets.

The theme explored the relationship between cycling and urban space: everyday yet revealing moments when human movement, the rhythm of the street and the visual structure of the city come together in a single image.

This result is a particular honour for me because nearly ten thousand photographs were submitted. The organisers eventually expanded the originally planned selection, allowing 36 images to be included in the final collection.

For me, street photography is often about such brief, fragile moments: a gesture, a direction, a shadow or a subtle connection between a person and the urban environment. What I find especially interesting in scenes with cyclists is the meeting of movement and composition: the way someone enters the frame for a few seconds and then continues on their way.

I am grateful to the Street Photography France team and the jury for including my work in this strong international selection. Feedback like this always encourages me to keep paying attention to the quiet, often unnoticed moments of everyday city life.

The photograph selected here, Different Paths, is also available in the shop as a ready-to-hang canvas print.
